Leopard-ness

What an exhausting week it has been, and it is only Tuesday. This is an outfit from house hunting....which I am getting more frustrated with everyday.

Enjoy my "walk on the wild side" outfit.

Spring Clothes

Lately I have been in the mind set that if I dress for the weather that I want, then maybe the weather will cooperate and be warm. You can tell by this outfit that I was obviously channeling Spring. This particular day was a bit chilly out, so I decided to add my half-cardigan with long sleeves to my floral blouse.

I love this floral shirt. I mean, when I first got it, I wore it at least once every week. It was a serious problem that I had. Now I try not wear the same thing back-to-back (unless it is my work uniform).

Semi-cardigan: The Limited (very old)
Floral shirt: Khol's (old)

Necklace: (gifted) Macy's

Polka Dots with a Pop of color

So this past weekend I got to spend some time with my family...and they got me a bit sick. I have a lovely little cough and sore throat. My job consists of constantly talking, so work is not the most fun right now. I'm almost hoping for some snow right now so that we can officially close for tomorrow. (It might be a staff only kind of day, but I'd rather curl up on my couch with a warm cup of tea).

So I've had this blazer in my closet for a few months now. (I picked it up at the first clothing swap that I attended. )However it is dry clean only, and I didn't have a need to go to the cleaner's for anything else for a while, so it just sat next to my laundry hamper for a while. (Because the floor next to the hamper is the designated dry cleaning spot).

I was determined to wear flats this day, even though my ankles weren't too happy about that. This is my way of channeling spring. (It may not be working since it is suppose to snow this week).

Spring on the mind

I don't know what it feels like at your house, but it is COLD here. I would like it to feel warmer outside, so therefore I decided to dress in spring colors. The cardigan that I'm wearing in these photos is one of the items that I got from the clothing swap. I had just decided that I wanted a light purple cardigan right before I went to the swap, so when I saw this on one of the tables, I knew that I had to have it.

Fashion Show from my closet

Ok not really....but I am including the photos that I found on my phone, so it's almost like a fashion show, right?

I'm so excited that football season is here! Now we don't have cable in my house (we run on Netflix around here), so we have been trying to come up with a way to watch some NFL. We are going to get an antenna to watch the local stations, and hopefully be able to watch some football!

We had to go out to watch the Wednesday game (along with half of the town), so I wanted to wear something comfy.

Oldies and goodies

I feel like all I did today was make food. I'm on a huge pumpkin kick right now, and I can't stop making yummy foods with it! I feel like I will be eating all things pumpkin until Thanksgiving. Is there anything that you can't get enough of during the fall?

I saw a version of these in Cosmo during one of the Winter issues. I painted the black first, then the blue, and then the gold. It was pretty easy, and I received a bunch of compliments!
