Just another OOTD

This outfit was based on one of those days wear you want to wear one specific item. That item was the orange cardigan, and I decided that adding a patterned tank with it would make a pretty good outfit. I also decided that I wanted to go sans-boots and went straight for my flats. HOWEVER, it was really really cold and I ended up wearing my brown boots. (After I ran a bunch of errands around town and I thought that my ankles were going to fall off.)

Moral of the story: it's not flats season yet.

100th Post!!

This is my 100th post! Yay for being able to come up with 100 different outfits in my closet. Okay, so that's not very many outfits when you consider all of the individual articles of clothing that I have in there. I had forgotten about this scarf, and I can't wait to find more ways to wear it during the spring!

Man  I really wish that I could be more creative in this post, but I'm beat. Hope you had a great Tuesday!

Month of January. Outfit of Fall.

So I feel like this outfit would have been a bit more appropriate during the fall months, but I didn't own these orange pants then. I'll admit that I completely forget about this sweater until the other day. I currently have most of my sweaters in an unorganized pile on a shelf in my closet. After I wear a sweater and wash it, I just kind of throw it back up in the pile and hope that the pile doesn't come tumbling down. At the start of fall, I had this nice, neat pile of sweaters and you could see all of the sweaters.

I really need to just rearrange the shelf so that the pile isn't so high. Or clean out a dresser drawer so that I can put my sweaters in there. (I don't hang my sweaters, as that takes the shape out if them).

So please enjoy my fall outfit that I wore in January.

Orange and Snake Print

Some days I have an idea floating around my head of what I want to wear. Some of these days, the outfit looks as good on me as it did in my head, other days, not so much. I was never 100% okay with this outfit, but I did not dislike it enough to take it off until the family Christmas get-together that evening. I actually kept the outfit the same except that I changed out of the snake-print tank into a navy sequined tank. Of course I did not get pictures of the second outfit, so you will just have to use your imagination.

I still have a few outfits leftover from 2012 that need to be posted, however I did get a lot of new clothes for Christmas....

My new black diamond earrings that then man gave me for Christmas. This is definitely not the best photo ever taken, but you can get an idea of what they look like.

I got the vest that I really wanted for Christmas. As soon as I unwrapped it, I put it on and wore it for the rest of the day. This was the only photo that I took last week of my clothes, so I thought that I'd share it.

*I do realized that there is a lot of green in this picture...

Purple and Orange

I am slowly trying to add more cardigans to my closet, because let's face it, they can really make an outfit. In this outfit I'm wearing the cardigan that I got on Black Friday for $10. What, What?!

I knew when I got dressed on this particular day, that I wanted to wear this cardigan, but I was having a difficult time deciding what to wear under it. I really like this burnt orange color, but I kept going through my clothes without finding anything that inspired me. Then I realized that my closet is crammed to the brim with clothing, and that I would find something to wear, I just had to go through every item instead of just scanning the rack. Then I had an epiphany that orange and purple should go together so I went through the purple section of my closet and found this sleeve-less shirt. (Yes, my clothes are color coordinated).

This is why I want a closet big enough that it can hold all of my clothes, without the items being smashed together. Whenever the man and I look at potential houses for the future, the first thing I think about is converting the smallest room in the house into my grand walk in closet. He may think that I'm silly, but hey, a girl's got to dream.

How do you ever find anything in your closet?

~I am wearing a lace tank from H&M underneath the purple shirt. The purple shirt is see-thru and I didn't want to show off my goods to anyone. Sorry.

Fall times are here

I was able to get this cardigan on Black Friday for $10.00. Dress Barn was having a sale where some of their sweaters were on sale for only $10.00, (of course I couldn't resist). They had a couple of different colors, but I was drawn to this burnt orange sweater. I'm still searching through my closet for more outfit combinations to wear this with, but I couldn't wait to show off my first outfit. I love comfortable outfits like this one!

What is your "go-to" style when you want a comfortable outfit?
